Operational Background
Heading the team is Geoffrey Coetzee, a proud South African Military Veteran, as a former Mechanised Infantry officer in the South African National Defence Force (SANDF), and the author of his book; “Self-defence has no rules” #selfdefencehasnorules.
He has extensive private security and military operational, and conducting training experience, which includes, but not limited to; new enlistment military recruits, troops for urban, rural, and conventional warfare. Doctrine development and implementation, military hardware research and development, Unit Combat Readiness, Junior and Senior leadership staff in military battle handling, for joint forces conventional exercises, as well as national and international peacekeeping/ peace enforcement African context missions.
Geoffrey has experience in making contact with hostile combatants in the African operational theatre. Today, he gets to apply his mind in local security operations and requirements, and solve small to large scale security problems.
Private Security Sector background
With the help and guidance from his father, Geoffrey registered with the PSIRA during 1999 when the sector was still called the Security Officer’s Board (SOB).
Over the past 13 years, Geoffrey has been part of several security projects, ranging from, but not limited to; the first Dog Unit of the City of Cape Town, the Drug Busters, the Copperheads, being part of and provision of a security solution for the MONDE Group in Kwazulu Natal, Shiselweni Forestry Company, various Western Cape Traffic & Law Enforcement Agencies for purposes of Regulation 21 compliance training, and firearms proficiency & competency achievement.

Training background
Additionally, Geoffrey also has in-depth knowledge and experience as an Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practitioner (ETDP), and has trained numerous ETDPs; facilitators, assessors, moderators, course designers and skills development facilitators for the SANDF, across several South African SETAs, and under the auspices of the Assessment College of South Africa, as a Licensee, whilst serving in the SANDF.
He also served as an external verifier for the Safety and Security SETA.
